We just released a completely new version of our web site (Semphonic.com). It’s dramatically revised, not simply re-designed and I wanted to mention it because I’m hoping it will prove a useful resource for people. The new site not only contains much more information about Semphonic, our service offerings, and our business (all good stuff), it also contains far more content. Much of that content is borrowed from our blogs of course, but there are also podcasts, Powerpoints, articles, white papers and more. What we’ve tried to do is integrate that content directly into the site so that most every page has a set of related links that provide access to some of our thinking.
In some ways, the site is still evolving. We’re working on a significant revamp to the Resources area – and our hope is that the new area will provide vastly better access to what has become a pretty sizable Semphonic canon. Finding older stuff in the blogs isn’t always easy and there’s really no organization or easy way to access content by topic. We hope to provide that in pretty short order.
If you read my blog and you’re not all that familiar with the services Semphonic provides, check out the site. It should give you a pretty good idea of what we can do – and maybe even point you to some articles or blogs you haven’t seen before!
Being pretty big in web analytics still makes Semphonic a pretty small company – and for much of our existence it’s been a case of the cobbler having poor shoon. It’s not like we are striving to win any web site awards, but I think the new site does a pretty good job both at describing our services and opening up some windows into the variety of content and intellectual property we generate.
Let me know what you think!
Wholly molly, the new site is as hip as it is full of substance! Congrats.
