If you downloaded and read (or maybe especially if you didn't), my recent Whitepaper on the future of digital measurement infrastructure, I'm doing a Webinar on Thursday the 1st of March that covers the core topics. In the webinar, I'll review some of the big picture trends in digital analytics that are driving changes in our analytics infrastructure - especially data warehousing. But the dramatic growth in data warehousing for digital analytics is creating new challenges for the measurement infrastructure - challenges that aren't ideally met by the most common approach to sourcing a warehouse - a data feed from your Web analytics solution.
I'll talk about why that is, and where I think digital infrastructure needs to go. It's very much a recap of the Whitepaper. However, there is one completely new element (not to mention the convenience of a webinar as opposed to reading a 20 page Whitepaper). I'm going to be joined by ShopDirect. ShopDirect is the United Kingdom's leading online retailer, and its largest home shopping company. They're one of the signature users of Celebrus and their experiences and thoughts are fascinating. Lots of readers of the Whitepaper have told me they recognize the growing infrastructure problem and agree with the Whitepaper's concerns and recommendations. On the other hand, they don't know much about Celebrus and how robust a solution it really is. If you're interested in the technology but have some concerns (as, frankly, I'd expect you to), I think you'll find the case-study part of the webinar particularly interesting.
You can register here. BTW - if you are in Europe (or even the East Coast), we're doing a much earlier edition of the webinar that is likely at a better time (7AM PST) - you can register for that version here.
Join me if you can!
