Just a quick note to mention two X Change related items. First, Manoj Jasra is running interviews with some of the Huddle leaders on his blog – WebAnalyticsWorld. The first is with Francis Lavelle of HowStuffWorks.com – check it out – especially if you are thinking about X Change. Francis attended in 2007 and 2008 so he was natural choice to lead a group this year and I think gives a really good sense of what he’s going to be discussing at X Change and what makes the conference so much fun.
Also note – much to my surprise – that July is just about officially over. The end of month has great significance to web analysts. In the old HBX days, it meant deleting your Active Segments to free them for the next month. It’s still a great opportunity to run API requests in Omniture so you don’t waste your monthly allotment. And, for everyone, it’s the last day we can relax before a bunch of reports are suddenly due.
But of greater significance is that our X Change mini-promo for early registration is about to end. Doesn’t matter whether you are using the early-reg codes, the Semphonic client discounts, or anything else – this is your last chance to get in on the early-reg drawing for a St. Regis Suite Upgrade (sweet), Giants tickets (perhaps a chance to see future hall-of-famer Tim Lincecum) or funky King Tut at the SF De Young. All good fun and if you are coming out anyway, why not give yourself a chance for a little sweetner - what better way is there to spend those last few work minutes on a Friday afternoon!
