There is an additional synergy from SEO to PPC that we use. With a well optimized site it is many times helpful to mine the long tail natural keywords in the log files. Many times you can find keywords that have been overlooked in both SEO and PPC campaigns. After finding these nuggets you can then test them in the PPC campaign before deciding whether or not to SEO it.

The working together of two things to produce an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects is nice strategy, and it is applicable in all aspects. thanks for the post. i enjoyed reading.

Very interesting reading. Using PPC information to formulate a SEO plan is a pretty widely known thing, but using the reverse, using SEO to help with PPC through profiling, that's awesome. Not something a lot of people talk about.
