On Comments
In the past, I’ve never posted comments to the site. That’s a policy that we’ve had since we started – but several people (especially Jacques Warren who regularly sends me interesting comments) have convinced me that it isn’t the best policy. So I’m changing it – at least partially. First, I’m going to publish any comment from anyone who I actually mentioned. That just seems fair. Second, I’m going to publish any comment that adds in some way to the discussion. I love getting "Great Post" and comments of that ilk – and they often start a dialog – but I’ll probably still just respond personally to those. Mine isn’t a blog that gets an enormous amount of comment activity (though it's certainly not encouraged any), so I’m not sure how much difference this change will make. But, at least, if you do want to comment on the subject of a post it won’t just go into my Inbox!
